Where Psychology Meets the Word
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Doctoral Degree in Psychology (PsyD). I have been working in the field of social work and counseling since I was 19 years old! I started my career as a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor and have worked for social services, community mental health, hospice and in private practice.

I work with hospice patients and like assisting and connecting with them and their families as they prepare to return home. I also work as a private practitioner, focusing on relationships, trauma, and bereavement. I also specialize in suicide prevention and am an outspoken supporter of open and honest discussions about suicide. I am a genuine person with real-world experience who strives to meet my clients where they are.
My therapeutic approach is unique and tailored to the needs of each client. I am well-read and continue to learn in order to provide the greatest therapy experience possible. I approach therapy from a Christian perspective knowing that Jesus is our healer.

I look forward to meeting you to begin therapy right where you are. This is a brave step you are taking and I feel privileged to make the journey with you!
